Pteridophyllum racemosum is a fascinating plant, a "woodland poppy", according to Far Reaches Farm it's hardy to Zone 5, but I hear it's difficult to keep in New England or places with high summer heat, it likes moist shaded conditions, would probably die quickly in my hot somewhat exposed garden. I'm tempted to order one, but at $25 each I'll spend my dollars elsewhere on something more reliably growable.
