Lee Anne,

Begonia's are such wonderful plants, aren't they? I've had many different types over the years, some have done extremely well while others haven't survived a week under my care. Most of my plants stay outside year round down here and I lost quite a few plants (begonia's included) this past winter with Florida's extended period of record breaking cold! I've never had much luck with the Rex Begonia's until 'Fireworks' and that one seems to be hanging in there so I guess it's happy. Even with our high humidity I haven't had a problem with mealies on the begonia's Hurray! (knocking on wood here!) I keep them in an area on the deck where they get really bright light (no direct sun) and good air circulation.

Thanks for the great article! I think everyone should try a begonia or two ... or three! Smiling
