fwmosher said:Hey, anyone growing the Perennial: Prairie Yucca? It was sold to me under that name, but I am pretty certain it is Yucca "Filmentosa". How could such a beautiful flower, have such a horrible name. As in "Yuk". LOL. Nevertheless, after at least five years of ownership, one of the two plants sent up a single, very tall bract, and last year, it followed with two stunning bracts, at least 5' tall. AND, the other one which has never bloomed, has really built up its foliage in the past year, so I have high expectations for a bloom on same this year.

Mine are pass along yucca that were passed along to my mom that were passed along to me so I have no idea what their actual name is. They are just solid green with blooms like yours The ones in front of my house in mostly full sun bloom every year. The ones in back under mostly shade, not so much. I will probably do some division on the ones in the back at some point later this year.
