For what it's worth, I don't think Mountain Crest Gardens should be treated as any authority on aloes... I see a couple of made up plant names on their aloe page.

I also see a couple of other images for Aloe brevifolia in the database which look like they may need to be moved.... but one step at a time. Smiling Just in case you were comparing photos and wondering why a couple of them look just like the images that Joy uploaded. Aloe x nobilis is a presumed hybrid of Aloe brevifolia, thus the source of the confusion.
