Putting this here because I dont want to use sad thread. If any of you gardening buddies feel inclined my friend Nita's hubby Wayne is in need of prayer and I told her I would get some of the finest folk on it.
Wayne had a cough...2 years now. He HAD xrays and work ups all negative.
Eats right. Exercises. No tobacco.
Great family..little stress...the entire family sings and plays instruments ..goes on missions with gospel groups etc. 5 kids..14 grands... lovely folk.
Wayne got the flu..but could not get over..doc put him on antibiotics in case a pneumonia was brewing. No better. He began having significant pain..aches..joints.. high fever too.
Went to ER.. cancer of the lung hiding under a big pneumonia. In ribs and spine too. A large cell ( slow growing )
So he has had radiation to shrink and prognoses for immunotherapy looks good
Then he got a bowel adhesion twisted and needed stomach surgery..( same 2 week period) docs say TOTALLY coincidental. That is repaired. While there, a blood clot to lung (that IS the cancer.)
Anyway, that's the history. They both are peaceful.. sure footed in their journey....accepting of whatever the Lord has planned for them..however, they would like prayers to lift them up.
