Good Morning folks; Melissa I've never thought of measuring a caudex! As soon as our rain lets up I think I'll do that just for kicks and giggles. Sylvain, I was successful using Wilfreds paint brush method last year. I no longer have any in pots, got darned tired of lugging them in and out of the house and ended up putting all of them in the ground. I lost about 15 by not being careful when weeding Angry but I still have about 50 that are doing nicely, I just gave a a little guy away to a neighbor yesterday, it had no leafs but two white flowers and is only about two inches tall. Doris I lost track of my dark knight and would sure appreciate seeing a picture of yours in bloom if you have one. Our rain here was totally expected so the day b-4 I threw a bag of miracle grow in two of my rain barrels and fed everything in sight. Our drainage is such that I don't get too concerned about over watering. Charleen is the bog forum still active here? and chef Mike I was wondering if you are actually a chef? Are you on any other cooking forums?
