Thank You! Everyone for all the encouraging words. Smiling

This is one of my very favorite plants.......so easy to grow, so undemanding, but
rewards with profuse bright multi-colored blooms.

I used to buy them until ~8yrs ago when I realized they re-seed very efficiently.
I also collect the seeds, and sow them in a flat.

Give the plants a "haircut" after the first bloom, and put all the trimmings loosely in a paper
bag in a dry place for a few months. The seed heads are little fuzzy things, that have a cap, with
tiny (smaller than poppy) seeds in a little cup.....they look like graphite.
After they are dried, I just shake the bag well, break up any unopened seed heads, and
separate the seeds using a sieve or colander.

After being trimmed, they will bloom again & again. When they're finally done, just cut the
top growth, and wait for seedlings....they transplant easily. I plant them about 2" apart in
a pot....10~15 in a 12" pot.

Which reminds me, I need to transplant them asap!
