Hi Lynn,

The plant is a perennial and reaches a hight of about 20-30cm, it likes damp soil, mine is growing beside the pond but it will be content with any soil as long as it isn't too dry. My brother who has a big garden has a big patch of them, they are very tough and come back loyally every year, I hope that helps, the flower is very special indeed!
