I use a mini-crockpot and hand held immersion blender to mix up my lotions, and measure using a large or small spoon (not exactly a precise science). For oils, I just mix the carrier oils by eye directly into a small dispenser (recycled from a commercial product) then add essential oils, then roll it in my hands to mix. It comes together quickly, and I usually make really small amounts so I can tweak the formulas to suit my skin. There are so many carrier oils to try (olive, avocado, jojoba, apricot kernel, on and on...) as well as essential oils for scent and function. Lots of good info on the internet to help you decide what to use. I'm hooked on DIY skin products.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
