OK, my drama for the month. Or something.
Mike seemed to have an awful lot of the double purples, so I decided to take some off his hands. They got here yesterday. My, what a big box!!
.
.
And, wowee, a box within a box, fantastic packing job, Mike!
.
.
Full of little grafted plants, hollering and moaning and groaning, "Get us outa here!!!"
.
.
The Line-up. (If these plants are 4 to 5 years old, then I must be 307 years old...)
.
Lolling around in warm water with a bit of Superthrive added for good measure.
.
.
Pots, pots. A little shredded mulch to keep the potting medium from drooling all out the holes---
.
.
Some perlite to soften the blow, I'll add my potting mix, this time it'll be about half and half perlite and peat. Or maybe more perlite than peat.
.
Wheee, all planted!
.
And a mess to tidy up.
OK, this morning they got a little sunlight, tomorrow they go out under the overhang of the roof on the deck, where they'll get early morning sun, until about ten am. Let's all give a big cheer for these little guys, they've had a rough trip, and they're just babies. Another photo in a few weeks once they've leafed out.
