I've had a wander round and the 'littles' seem in the main to be very happy here. I've tried to select the most vigorous/floriferous, so starting with some rebloomers:

Je M'Appelle Reviens (IB) Really vigorous, already a multiple rebloomer

Blueberry Tart (SDB) similarly, vigorous and blooms abundantly (in bud again now)

Hot (SDB) - as the previous two - lots of increase, multiple reblooms

Thrum (IB) Not listed in the DB as a rebloomer, but reblooms here (and is listed by some sellers as a rebloomer)

Irish Darling (IB) rebloom, easy increaser

Wizard's Return (SDB) - masses of increase; reblooms

Forever Blue (SDB) good increase, should rebloom (don't know yet)

Touch of Tuscany (IB) bloomed while I was away but hope to see it in May

Here on down, not rebloomers, but vigorous growers and some lovelies:

Green Oasis (SDB) lots of increase and lots of buds

Quagga (MTB) masses of increase

Breathtaking (SDB) - lots of increase and 'oh my' colours

Worry Wart (SDB) - lots of increase; last year bloomed on New Year's Eve even though it's not listed as a rebloomer. But it hasn't rebloomed this year. Wonderful smokey colour

Snitch (SDB) lots of increase

Real Coquette (SDB) (Blyth) happy in the heat

Star in the Night (IB) very vigorous, rich colour

Prince of Burgundy (IB) vigorous plic, makes lovely clumps

Ours get no special treatment - I certainly don't molly-coddle them, although we do have a drip irrigation system for the hot months. Blyths seem to like it here, perhaps because they were developed in a hot climate(?) - on the other hand, the Loic Tasquiers and Piateks also do really well and they're both from cold climates. I'm sure I've mentioned that the soil here is really sandy. If you look at my plant list and see anything you particularly like, I'll happily tell you how it's doing here.

Bonnie, who knows hugely more about little irises than I do, advises against MDBs unless they can have a cold spell in winter. I do have a few MDBs here, and some (like Pokemon) seem quite happy - but that might not last. Perhaps safest to avoid them!
