This and your other recent picture look like they are are not Agave americana, which has pretty vicious spines.



I am thinking maybe this could be a Furcraea, maybe F. foetida, which would be mostly spineless along leaf margins.



I'm not 100% sure here, but that's as far as I got with an ID. Maybe @mcvansoest would know more.

Please let me know what you think. Maybe you recall or captured some signage from the bot garden?
