Thank you for taking the time to explain it to me. I just place my orders with
other nurseries like Floyd Cove or Tim Bell or Dan Trimmer or Dan Hansen
who also have plants at lower prices that I might be looking for. Quite often
I can find a similar plant for a lot less if I shop elsewhere. I am more impressed
by places that cater to my needs and value me as a customer who sometimes
chooses the cheaper plants. My feelings are not hurt if I am not on his client list.
I have to be very cautious with my expenses, and if being frugal puts me out of
range for Crintonic, there are worse things. My original post was that his plants
on his website were a bit pricey. It was just a simple statement, and yet I have
gotten all kinds of adverse reactions from other members.

With the number of new releases every year it is hard sometimes to get every one
on my list, and I am thankful for a price break any time I can find one. I will spend
the money when I feel they meet my criterion for "cutting edge". Being a backyard
hybridizer I am always a few years behind anyhow, and it isn't generally worth the
price when I only use them a year or two for pollen and then discard them.

As for the ones he was discarding, they were his own registrations, not seedlings.

I believe in fair market value, but I don't always agree that every new registration
is automatically worth excessively high prices when many are just average plain
old ordinary daylilies.... just like mine! I have a field full of them.

I've read this post and all the previous ones many times over the past 9 days. Apparently the comments and adverse reactions from other members to your posts have been misunderstood or ignored. No matter how you reword or rephrase your comments about Curt's prices, other comments contained in your posts are making it very clear that this is a personal issue.
I'm suggesting your personal attack on Curt come to an end in this forum.
