I kill Bougainvillea's. I think it was that I put it in the shade. I have seen huge Bougainvillea at other people's houses. I used to live in Livermore, CA and it was hot but no wind.
Can I put it in a large pot in the full sun, how would that do?
Any tips or ideas? I really want one. My back yard is a big shaded area with a large pool so I am back to the front. I've lived here three years and Iam really going strong on my front yard this year.
I wonder if going up a water spout to the roof would be ok. Or if it would pull the water spout down. That would be bad. Still seeing beautiful houses with bougainvillea in the city of Tracy, CA 9a. Don't have a trellis yet as we have cars not trucks. Hmmm that might be a problem with a large container as well.
