Thanks for all that info, Thijs. I've got to plant more Agaves in my yards in Scottsdale. Somehow I planted a lot of other things, and never really focused on Agaves. All I have is Agave Victoria-Reginae and A. Augustifolia. That's pretty sad!
I had a few more years ago, but they died because of some grubs that ate the roots.
