zuzu said:I think we need a parent page for Primula, and unless I'm mistaken, this information can be applied to all of them across the board:

Plant Habit: Herb/Forb
Life Cycle: Perennial
Sun Requirements: Partial or Dappled Shade
Leaves: Evergreen
Flowers: Showy
Propagation: Other Methods: Division

I can't think of any exceptions to those rules. Can anyone else think of any?

And if we're striving for uniformity, should the main common name of all of them be "Primrose," with all of the other ones currently being used ("English Primrose," "Candalabra Primrose," etc.) listed only as other options?

Dave, when you added this information to the main Primula page, you clicked the wrong box and said the fruit is showy, not the flowers.
