goldfinch4 said:Well, it's a sad day for me. All the snow in my semp beds is now melted. I've lost 38 total clumps of plants, and another 42 varieties have 1 or 2 surviving plants left. Super bummed out. Guess it's time to try some new ones out.
The remaining semps have survived below freezing temps for about 3 months with no snow cover, (occasional temps as low as -18 deg.), winds up to 40 MPH for many nights (again, no snow cover), 3 ice storms (1"-5" depth of ice each), being encased in ice for 2 weeks, and 3 late season snowstorms after beginning to come out of dormancy. What I've got left are some tough little buggers!
