Hi Joannakat!!
Thank you for the welcome!!! 😀 I just went out to check on my plants, if the wind got to them and one of my little pansys that is closest to the wind had wilted. I was saying OH NO what happened to you??? I quickly gave him and the bed a water. Iam always checking on my plants throughout the day.
I have to check out that grabber!! I literally went hog wild lol.
Before the entire bed was grass and I ripped it out by hand. Oh yeah and weeds of course. I gift myself for weeding by getting more plants. Right now, we'll tomorrow, I will begin weeding the new bed. A new beginning. When I finally get a good amount out I can look at the plants again. I cannot window shop. I will end up bringing something home!!!
What really gets to me is when I accidentally cut a worm in half with the shovel. I truly apologize and put the halves back in the soil.
I feel horrible if I accidentally knock off a leaf or mush the leaf into the six pack plastic holders that the nurseries put them in. Or if I am removing the plant from the holder and not all the roots make it out.
I think we're a special breed!!! Lol. And what better friends than plants. They are like my pets. If my husband realized that I mumbled or got emotional with my plants I think he would say that it was time to go on not so fun of a crazy vacation!! 😀
I have a plant related hobby that drives my husband crazy. My aunt bought the kids a good amount of coloring books. Two of them are all garden scenes with bible excerpts and inspirational messages. Well I have fun coloring them. Whoever made these coloring books was very talented as you can tell what the plants are and they are very ornate. He says what are you doing? Coloring all night in the kids coloring books??? And I laugh and say yes!!!
Cheers and happy special gardening!!!
😀
