With huge rose beds containing over 250 roses, not to mention the citrus tree's, bulbs, and other beds, I have never been able to make enough compost. I order it in by the dump truck load full, every other year. The price isn't that bad, 2 Tons, was $150. Much cheaper than buying it by the bag!! It's a really nice dark forest mulch mix...just love it, so do my plants :
