Yeah, toads are pretty cool. When I was a kid I used to go find a bunch and bring them in my sandbox. I'd make castles and roads, tunnels and rivers for them. Unfortunately they didn't appreciate all the work I did for them. But at the end of every day I made sure I returned them all to the gardens. They probably hid every time they saw me!
I think a newt would be cool too. We don't have those around here.
