I've had a lot going on lately and haven't been spending much time out in the yard. I fill the feeders @ 7:00-7:30 every morning and have been including mealworms which the Buntings, Warblers and a few other birds love. I've seen a few Warblers already, earlier than usual as they don't usually appear here until the winter months. Although I've seen the Painted Buntings in August a few times, January through April is the usual time frame when they visit my feeders. It's always exciting to see those colorful little birds and I will definitely be taking pictures when I spot them again!
