ok i need some id for these 2 different kinds 1 st kind has been referred to century plant grows for about 10 yrs sends a bloom spike 30+ feet in the air then it dies BUT puts pups up everywhere so these reproduce that way.

Thumb of 2011-10-27/chefmike92/17535a pup

Thumb of 2011-10-27/chefmike92/723c7c hard to see but it is 9 yrs old

Thumb of 2011-10-27/chefmike92/70b61dsame as above and the sikes on these are very big and sharp

the second one looks kind of like it but a lot lighter green and dosnt give but a few pups and they are very close and in a few years it sends a flower spike 20 ft in the air blooms yellow then gets little plants on the flower spike on its tips and that falls and spreads these plants all over and the mother plant dies also

Thumb of 2011-10-27/chefmike92/9d9270 this doesn't like freezing and these are on the mother that died 2 years ago

any ideas (i know thats a dumb question )you all are great i know you know what they are and does anyone want some?

mike
