Here in Devon England the weather has been unusual. After an extremely wet winter we had a series of freeze/thaw situations and I nearly lost quite a few daylilies. I lifted them, removed rotten fans and dried them out for a few days before re-planting. So far no scapes on these. HOWEVER I am experiencing some rare behaviour in other dls. Almost all are scaping now regardless of their normal bloom time and 2 plants in particular are putting out 2 scapes per fan! I have 10 scapes on Jennie Sivyer's7 fans and 5 scapes on the 3 fans of RFK new last year. Has anyone else noticed anything like this?
