I believe that the topknot is Rose Queen, but I will go back to my notes as I was building the frame and check the plants I initially was working with to make sure. I still have to make the crossed legs and attach those. This weekend I am working with a large order from North Hills that is tremendously generous with many babies in each bag. They are the easiest to use putting into the chicken wire. I'll take another photo after I get them all in. I was waiting for the moss and soil to settle, so that I can now back fill his back and make it tighter so that the roots can reach something to grab onto, and then fill the back with plants which currently has no plants on it. I do have a pretty big garden and supply of semps, but not for use in this project, as they are well established in pots, some in ground. I did use one tray I had set aside that had rootbound babies from a few orders ago, and they were a perfect start to the project.

Wow, that's quite a project! Sounds like you've made it really sturdy, which is a good thing because its so big. Do you already grow semps so you have a bunch to use or are you having to purchase them to put on Buddah? Yes, please share progress pictures - it's going to be awesome when it's all filled in! Do you know the ID of the last picture? It's such a pretty color.
