We had our Garden Closing Ceremony on Oct. 23. We brought the container plants in over the next week. I spent the other day cleaning them all up, putting saucers under them. Shopped for a hose and nozzle the other day (for the plants we overwinter downstairs which is all concrete floors, and some rooms with floor drains). We have a hose bib down there as well. Remember, we have a small RV park, so the entire lower level is bathrooms and showers, office, and our 'Lodge Room'. The problem is, the plants downstairs tend to get neglected. That's why I'm going for the hose... easier to water than lugging the heavy huge watering can around. So, that's what I've been doing. And, transitioning into winter, which means I need lots of fun and creative and happy interaction... hope you are all doing well and I also hope all of you in the Northeast are getting power back and mostly that you and your families are safe!
