Glad you're all back! We need to keep this thread alive. I had dug a whole new area of the yard up and put in new perennials (you are right Ann, 'addicted) over that last 2 years (because I have so little area in the sun). The problem was that it means coming out the back door and walking around the area to get to the more shaded patio side. Inky was used to taking a sharp right and was walking on the planting area so I bought these cute little white picket fence panels and we put them up around the new spot today. Inky was curious but has now learned to walk where the flagstone path will go in (oh my aching back) next spring. Once he learns, we may not need the short fence but it is really kind of cute with my cottage look. Plus, I'm thinking of a way to put that anti-bunny mesh on the inside for the early spring.
