Quick tips for Euphorbia cutters everywhere (on top of the previous warning and recommendations, which I would take seriously)... wear gloves, eye protection, whatever you need to stay safe. The sap is much more dangerous (and goes more unexpected places) when it is fresh and liquid. You can use ice cold water as a way to congeal the sap and stop the flow faster after you take a cutting, and thus minimize your exposure on that end. Dip the cutting in there after you take it and give the cold water a minute or two to do the magic.
