I had to weed my pepper patch today - I purchased new straw for mulching this year, it had an abundance of leftover wheat seed heads in it apparently. It looked like I had seeded lawn instead of mulched garden.

Takii Ace - all have set pepper (any plurals are disappearing whether from pest or other cause undetermined). This looks like it has stunted their vegetative growth, they are the 2nd smallest plants in the garden.
Carmen are blooming, Big Red are blooming, Sweet Banana are blooming and may have some peppers set. Lipstick has buds, Tricked You Fauxlapeno has buds. The Zavory Fauxbanero are the smallest plants but they've got the whorls of leaves that look ready to spring into growth, any buds are too small to see.
