Jan,
I'm a firm believer in letting an idea percolate and develop. If you are familiar with the folks at Amargia Gardens (DGers), Jim is retired Air Force. He's putting in what he calls "The Old Soldiers" garden. Using a color theme--red, white, and blue, of course
-- but is making a spot to plant the Cullins daylily when I have a fan ready to send on. That area of Amargia's gardens just evolved, too.
