I think I found it!!! Geant des Batailles. It's under 2 feet tall and has 85 petals.

The HMF photos are quite variable in color, but the color of this rose is exceptionally difficult to capture with a camera, so I also have a bunch of photos of it in various shades of crimson.
This is one that Vintage always propagates on a large scale. I'll shoot Gita a couple of my photos and see whether she agrees.
