I ordered a shipment of ladybugs for the aphids on my daylilies, which shipped from California. After removing them from the box, I was cutting the tape on it to compress it for the recycling bin, when this thing fell out of the seemingly empty package. It wasn't in the container with the ladybugs, it was apparently under the end flaps of the box.
I don't want to kill it if it's not a detrimental pest, but I'm also not sure I should let it live because if it's from California we probably don't have it here in Ohio.
Can anyone tell me what it is??
