Maybe try one jug in summer? I have been known to start some things in summer. I just use the regular WSing method, milk jugs, but I add lots of vent holes and keep them in mostly shade. Then I plant out seedlings in fall. It works great for perennials that bloom in the second year.

I'm sorry I can't offer any real useful information or tips Terese. Hopefully someone else will.
