From what I could tell on doubled, poly, or fused blooms is...
Double and poly blooms will have only one pistil
On a fused bloom, I see two pistils.
Correct me where I'm wrong, folks!

I don't have tons of experience with seedlings, but I've read that it can take a few years for a bloom to hit its final shape, size, color... Perhaps it's a double bloom that just needed the time to show its stuff?
