There are several species commonly called "blue chalk stick," some called simply "chalk stick" and a couple called either "green chalk stick" or "white chalk stick." As far as I know, care in cultivation is the same for all of them.
My Senecio scaposus has been blooming for a few weeks now. The flowers show well their Asteraceae (daisy) heritage.
