if anyone visits No Calif you should see Fern Canyon
after leaving Hwy 101 there are usually a bunch of Elk
then further on a gravel road over the mountain to the ocean
where you enter the park and you may see more elk
then at the parking lot a short walk
and we saw more elk
including this big guy bedded near the trail
enter the canyon
the walls are covered with the western maidenhair fern
at the end of the canyon you can take a trail up and back or turn around
