Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have no idea where it came from lest it was a seed that was in the moonflower seeds and I planted it with the moonflowers.
I'm excited but I don't see a caudex yet but yours is older than mine. I suppose I'll have to lift it as cold weather gets here, pot it up, and bring it inside with the orchids. Do you leave yours outside?
That's why I had called a little earlier to confirm this as I've wondered for weeks what in the world it was. Whew, I'm so relieved to finally know.
