How about posting a picture of your plant, please? I'll add my 2 cents worth - Phal orchids do not grow in soil. They need orchid bark. When you posted a few days ago about this plant I said "Pot it up in a ventilated pot with orchid bark (you can buy it at any garden center)."

Sorry, you need to go back on this one and rinse off all that soil. Here are what orchid pots look like, see the extra holes int he sides for ventilation? Or you can use a slatted wood basket for even better air flow. You can see the chunky bark the plants are growing in, in the second picture, too.
