A San Antonio weatherperson had commented on the city shaking off the iron grip of Exceptional Drought, now being in Extreme (still very serious, of course) Drought. We're still in Exceptional here, still very dry. Still have to put out water for wildlife...although not as much as during summer. I've been hearing a few more flocks of migrating birds flying over lately. Winter coming...our first freeze of the season the other night.
