Jill, I did make tea with the few flowers I got from the small plants last year. It was delicious! Tasted like honey, with a distinctive menthol effect like a cough drop. I imagine it would make a great tea for cold/flu season. They did remain semi evergreen, but considering it was only their first winter, might fair even better now that they're established.
