Because sometimes purchasing daylilies grown in another area make them take off and do well when you plant them. So when I ordered from him they didn't do well. But they were coming from CA. But if I order the same daylily from a northern grower to begin with, they do better for me at adjusting here after I plant them. Does that make sense?
