I'm posting a couple pics. of one of my favorite house plants: the Mitriostigma axillare to show what I incorrectly did to it. I over fed it without realizing the instructions from Logees said it only required low fert. usage about once a month. As you might be able the see, some of the leaves have turned brown and starting to fall off.
When I spoke to Logees yesterday, I told the woman that it was putting out new growth on the top and she said that was a good sign and suggested I try to leach out as much fert. as I could.
This has been one of my favorites as it is so easy to grow and the flowers smell wonderful, so I hope I've not killed it but I wanted this to NOT happen you any of you. Lee.Thumb of 2011-07-08/kevin51/43b001
