I poured cold coffee onto a weak, yellowish holly near my door and when the winter was done; I had the best looking holly that I had ever seen! It went from twigs to full bushiness and never lost most of it's leaves in winter again. There had been a white fly infestation and some kind of 'smut' on the leaves from either scale or aphids when I had moved in that fall. The following summer, I put the grounds on all of the hollies and while I still had a yard full of white flies, my shrubs had dark green, healthy looking leaves. Well, we always knew that coffee was a miracle drug Rolling on the floor laughing Lovey dubby
