This will be my third attempt in as many years to overwinter Coleus cuttings. My indoor environment in prior years was poor with only natural sunlight, such as it is in Winter, but now I have a lighted plant stand and, of course, am trying again. Any help you all can give me about ridding mealy bugs would really be appreciated. They aren't a problem...yet...but I'd like to be ahead of the game as much as possible. In the past I've dipped Q-tips in rubbing alcohol, and was recently told a spritz of Windex with Ammonia is another possible topical and can be diluted when it's time to water. Has anybody tried that? My biggest fear is damping off and have already lost several cuttings, even with a light hand watering.
