systemic is the way to go.. in either Karen's granular or my watering version.. it is a life saver with mealy bugs.. never heard of anyone using windex & ammonia before .. you can always try to water with peroxide or use ground cinnamon on the soil to help with damp off.. another option is water with camomile tea
