I was wondering if that was the case with the photos. Even some of the semps will do odd things within a cultivar. S. 'Fame Montrose' is one of them.
Hen and Chicks (Sempervivum 'Fame Monstrose')
Everything I see about says it is a yellow bloom. I do wonder, knowing where Tee lives, if it is not bleached out by the sun and/or camera setting for exposure. It looks like it is yellow but over expose in the photo. Maybe you could treemail Tee and ask her about the conditions of lighting and if that bloom is normally a brighter yellow?
What do you think?
