Charlene, I see I should have posted here about the Jatropha but I posted it in the 'how to start a forum' area where you asked the question about how to do it. So, if you will, go there to see what I wrote
You said yours was about 3 yrs old and has a caudex and I looked to see if this one did but it doesn't maybe it's due to it being so young. I do hope I can dig it up as cold weather approaches as I'd like to keep it. All depends on how deep are the roots.
