clintbrown said:Beware of the Summer Spice series. They are not being honest about their colors. They clearly have a problem taking accurate photos. I think they are "allegedly" intentionally misleading people. Their blue Hibiscus are really gray unless you take the photo at sunset and manipulate the lighting. This is just my opinion, but I'm not color blind. Their plants don't look like they are claimed to look.

'Amaretto' is really PINK.

Let's be honest here. I trust the plants from the Summerific series because they are close to what they claim. I do not trust this Summer Spice series at all anymore. I see too many examples of them faking their photos.

I agree
My Summerific's colors are identical to their plant tags, and obviously Summer Spice's are not. Reminds me of some Breck's Bulbs and Schreiner's Iris photos in the past.

Amaretto is self-fertile - I have 20 seeds (1 pod), but may be able to get more if the new buds I am seeing open up. I have 36 seeds from a cross with my pink and white seedling - the only other flower that was open that day. If I get enough seed I might be willing to share. My other crosses are going into Dogs'n' Daylilies' seed swap (on this site in November - under "tools").
