LOL. Vic, I understand that food police thing. Been there, done that. Hilarious! I probably drove everyone nuts. Pollan is good, IMHO. When was his first book written? I know it has been awhile now. I no longer have my copy.

You are fortunate to have a good health food store. The ones here are mostly vitamins and gadgets and dried things and so forth. I'm glad for that but I got spoiled out West. Glare Our Kroger does have a small organic produce section but the prices are sky high. I buy some things there. They have a couple of short aisles of other organic foods, dried, boxed, bottled, frozen, and so forth. I'm glad for that but I wonder if anyone buys it except on sale days? It's one thing to have an organic section and another thing to have an affordable organic section. Shrug!
I garden for the pollinators.
