12 oz. fresh cranberries
1 cup water
1/2 cup white sugar (I increase that to more like a cup!)
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp allspice
---------------------
1 pint blueberries

1. Wash cranberries, cook in saucepan with water and sugar. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, stir and simmer for 10 minutes or until cranberries burst.
2. Slightly mash cranberries with the back of a wooden spoon to insure all skins are broken. Add the spices, mix well.
3. Remove from heat and mix in blueberries. The sauce will thicken as it cools. Refrigerate to chill.

Hetty, the above is from my original recipe, with 1/2 cup sugar. I found that too tart. I add a lot more sugar- about a cup.
