My plant is Phyllanthus and probably Phyllanthus amara, but not 100% garantueed, (my thanks to Tony Rodd for the ID!)
I looked in Flora do Brasil and found 93 species for Brasil!

Impossible to find images of all, or not detailed enough, but I find these images of P.amara really spot on!

I'm not sure if yours is the same specie Ginger, but at least it is a Phyllanthus sp.
